40 Years in the Making
From a Pot of Antifreeze to 29,000 Square Feet
In 1986, Loren Peterson opened Central Hose on A Street in Pasco with a simple mission: keep the farms, food plants, and industry of the Columbia Basin running. His brother Chip joined not long after. Hose ends were softened in a pot of boiling antifreeze. A used 1987 forklift — still on the floor today — hauled the work.
Four decades later, the faces have changed. The mission hasn't. ARG Pasco joined the ARG Industrial family in 2013 and has been growing ever since. Branch Manager Simon Chiu, who has led the Pasco team for the past seven years, has been part of that growth since 2011. Now, in our 40th year, we're making the biggest move in the branch's history — going up and over into a facility built for the next 40.
