A flat mount pulley block, also known as a center board pulley block, is a permanently mountable block offering two mounting holes to affix it for static applications. A flat mount pulley block is firmly attached to the wall, ceiling or a firm, flat surface to insure stability in the block itself. Block Division’s industrial grade flat mount pulley blocks can be affixed with threaded fasteners to a substrate wood, metal or masonry and can be used for wire rope, fibrous rope or nylon. A snatch pin option is also available. This allows the user to remove the pin in order to replace the sheave. Block Division pulley blocks are made with a zinc electroplating, which offers corrosion-resistance and is an excellent finish for both indoor and outdoor use. Block division also offers our flat mount blocks in a stainless steel finish. This type of finish is normally required for use by the food and beverage industry. It is also an excellent finish for use in applications with extreme exposure to dust, chemicals or environmental (such as salt water).
