Bridon® Rotation-Resistant Rope, Series: DYFORM-34LR, Wire Diameter: 5/8 in, Grade: EIP/1960, EEIP/2160, Tensile Strength: 26.1 ton for EIP/1960, 28.2 ton for EEIP/2160, Material: Steel, Material Construction: Compacted Strand Steel, For Use With: Main and Auxiliary Hoist Ropes, Lifeboat Ropes and Winch Lines Dyform 34LR is a compacted multi-strand rotation-resistant rope. Rotation resistance comes from opposing lay directions between the inner and outer strand layers, so the rope does not spin up a load hanging on a single part. Dyform compaction packs more steel into the same diameter, which is where the strength gain over a conventional rope comes from. Available with IWRC or plastic-injected core, in Lang's or regular lay, bright or galvanized. Approximately 0.860 lb per foot.
