CWC BLUE STEEL is a high-tenacity polyolefin co-polymer, not polyester and not standard polypropylene. CWC rates it 35 to 40 percent stronger than polypropylene crab rope with less stretch, and it floats. Polyolefin has a specific gravity of 0.91 and FLOATS. It holds 100 percent of its dry strength when wet. UV resistance: excellent - cwc rates blue steel for uv. Elongation at break approximately less than standard polypropylene.
