The wider mouth lets the shackle connect to a pad eye or lug that is wider than a standard dee will take. Double safety - split pin plus safety bolt - prevents the pin unscrewing under vibration. Minimum breaking load is 5 times the working load limit. Service temperature -20 deg C to +200 deg C. Hot dip galvanized for long-term durability.
