Sizes 1-1/2 in and smaller, including this one, use a grooveless design with specially shaped retaining segments that stop the socketing compound rotating or popping out. Poured with either zinc or polyester resin. Socket, pin and cotter pin are galvanized per ASTM A153. Ultimate load 28 tons; minimum socketing media 40 cc.
