The Thern Liberty® Series 3CP1S-AFS swivel-mount capstan winch delivers up to 1,000 lb (450 kg) line pull with a ½″–¾″ (13–19 mm) rope diameter range and 35–50 fpm (11–15 m/min) line speed. It features a 115 V, single-phase, 15 A motor, a permanently-lubricated planetary gearbox, and powder-coated steel housing with corrosion-resistant components for durability. Quiet operation at 80 dBA, with integrated foot-switch control (IP65/NEMA 4 rated) for safe outdoor use. The swivel base allows 360° orientation in 15° increments and includes a rope-lock for controlled lowering and a spring-loaded rope-keep for line retention. The ship weight is approx. 76 lb (34 kg), with a duty cycle of 20 minutes at full load and ambient operating temperatures from -4 °F to +105 °F (-20 °C to +40 °C). Suitable for pulling, tensioning and rigging where a swivel-mounted winch offers flexibility.
