WCWR® Aircraft Cable, 5/16 in Wire Diameter, Finish: Galvanized, Load Capacity: 1,960 lb, Strands: 7 x 19, 500 FT A factory-wound 500 ft reel of 5/16 in 7 x 19 galvanized aircraft cable. The 7 x 19 construction - seven strands of nineteen wires - is the most flexible of the common aircraft cable lays, which is why it is the one specified where the cable runs over sheaves or has to be coiled. Minimum breaking strength is 9,800 lb, giving a 1,960 lb working load limit at the 5:1 design factor used for general rigging. Approximate weight 17.3 lb per 100 ft.
